Hello! My name is Ewa, and I’ll be your guide to the incredible city of Rio de Janeiro. I moved here in 2019, and ever since, the city has been surprising me every single day. My Rio adventure began with a deep fascination for Latin American cultures, which I studied at the University of Warsaw.

Through my studies in cultural anthropology, I learned to look beneath the surface and truly understand cultural diversity. This interest soon turned into a passion, strengthened by postgraduate Latin American studies. Extensive travels across the region eventually led me to Brazil, where my academic interests came vividly to life here in Rio.

As a licensed tour guide, I enjoy showing Rio’s famous icons but what excites me most is discovering places beyond the usual tourist trails. I love taking travellers to the city’s hidden corners: local bars, atmospheric neighbourhoods, and places exploding with vibrant Brazilian culture.
