Hello! My name is Ralph, and I’d be delighted to be your guide in the extraordinary city of Rio de Janeiro. I’ve lived and worked among different cultures for most of my life, and since 2019, I’ve been a licensed tour guide, following what truly feels like my calling: sharing Rio through genuine human connection.
My tours focus on discovering the real Rio — from world-famous icons like Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer to vibrant neighbourhoods such as Lapa, Copacabana and Ipanema, as well as the lush calm of Tijuca Forest. I have a special soft spot for Santa Teresa, a hilltop district full of art, colour and unforgettable views.
I love weaving authentic local experiences into my tours: tasting regional food, visiting small markets, or listening to samba in places most visitors would never find on their own. As Sustainability Director of a tour guide association, I’m also deeply committed to responsible tourism and accessibility, with experience guiding travellers who are blind or use wheelchairs.
My tours are relaxed, immersive and full of good energy — ideal for travellers who want to explore Rio at their own rhythm and feel like locals, not tourists. Let’s create a personalised experience and make your time in Rio truly unforgettable.
Hello! I’m Thiago, a local guide with over 15 years of experience showing people around Rio de Janeiro, mixing adventure, nature and city life into unforgettable days. I love helping travellers experience Rio the way locals do — relaxed, authentic and full of surprises.
I know the city inside out, from its famous highlights to places most visitors never get to see. Every tour I run is shaped around you: your interests, your energy level and what you really want to experience. Comfort and safety always come first, but there’s plenty of room for spontaneity and fun along the way.
Rio is also an outdoor playground, and I’m familiar with almost every trail in the city — from easy walks with amazing views to more challenging hikes for those who enjoy a bit of adrenaline. Nature trails, viewpoints, hidden corners and local vibes all come together in a way that makes each day feel truly special.
Adventure is a big part of my life. I practise surfing, paragliding, rock climbing, cycling, skateboarding and more, and that passion naturally flows into my tours. Whether it’s your first time in Rio or you’re looking to go deeper, I’ll help turn your plans into real experiences — always with care, good energy and attention to detail.
I’m a university-trained tourism professional and a fully licensed tour guide. Let’s make your day in Rio one you’ll remember for a long time.
Hello! My name is Ewa, and I’ll be your guide to the incredible city of Rio de Janeiro. I moved here in 2019, and ever since, the city has been surprising me every single day. My Rio adventure began with a deep fascination for Latin American cultures, which I studied at the University of Warsaw.
Through my studies in cultural anthropology, I learned to look beneath the surface and truly understand cultural diversity. This interest soon turned into a passion, strengthened by postgraduate Latin American studies. Extensive travels across the region eventually led me to Brazil, where my academic interests came vividly to life here in Rio.
As a licensed tour guide, I enjoy showing Rio’s famous icons but what excites me most is discovering places beyond the usual tourist trails. I love taking travellers to the city’s hidden corners: local bars, atmospheric neighbourhoods, and places exploding with vibrant Brazilian culture.
Being a guide in Rio is more than a job. It’s a chance to show how layered, dynamic and full of contrasts this city truly is. I invite you to discover Rio with me — both its famous landmarks and its lesser-known gems — and experience the city that has become my home and passion.
